I'm sending this message with a heavy heart after almost 40 years of playing on the punk scene The X-Rippers have finally called it a day.The motivation and hunger is not there anymore with some members of the band and we would rather be remembered as a good punk band who gave our all on stage rather than be remembered as a mediocre punk band going through the motions with our last few booked gigs.Up to now there is no farewell gig planned so to those who have supported us over the years thank you very much from us all.Special thanks to Mal Spunkster for the last five years it's been a pleasure working with you and you fitted in just like our Munk and played your heart out just like him.Thanks to Big Al Allen Ellison for joining the band when Munk got sick and stepping in the second time around.Thanks to other members who have helped us in our roller coster ride Andy Johnson from L.A ( Leeds Area ).Pat Crawford,and Andy Blower.But most of all thank you to our loyal fanbase for supporting us at our gigs and promotors who dared book us to play.Once again Thank You.
